Mitch,
Your listeners will excuse the insane comment you made in episode 11 about nebraska being the worst team of the final 3 of ksu opponents. Please don't feel the need to dig yourself further in a whole by making the statment that KU will beat Nebraska this week.
On another topic, once again, thank you for being the voice of reason in the BCS conversation. Everytime I listen to Brad's takes on this topic I want to scream back into the speakers. Someday he will simply get tired of listening to sensable people tell him the same thing, in this regard, over and over and will simply quit arguing this topic. Just as you and the nebraska deal he made a statement/took a side from the beginning and refuses to admit he is wrong.
Note-to-self: Bow out of aruements when I am wrong.
Who knew this was going to be an educational radio show.

"Bow out of arguments when I am wrong"
That's a tough thing to do, especially when you don't think you are wrong. My whole premise is that the system that College football uses to determine it's champion, yield a more legitimate #1 team at the end of the season than any other sport. Changing the system may create more drama in certain situations, and may give some teams a chance at a title that wouldn't have had a chance before. But it will also destroy the essence of what college football is and has been for decades.

Please don't tell me that you think less of the way that college basketball crowns a national champion b/c it is so different than the current BCS system?
In the end, as great as college football is, it is the only sport where you can win a national championship, and you don't have to go out there and prove yourself among the best. Yes it's better than the way it use to be. And yes, the "2 best teams" do have to play against each other to be crowned BCS champion. But, the system needs to be changed. A playoff is the easiest way to do that in my opinion b/c it doesn't discourage teams from going out and trying to get "good wins" in order to get an at-large bid into the playoff. There is no other way to have an objective way to determine who is the best....oh wait, except that we could just have the computers determine that, right?

I appreciate being called back out on my stance that Nebraska is the worst team b/w them, KU, and MU...and that KU was the best. However, my point was not that, it was that I thought K-State's schedule got progressively easier from the KU game on. After spending the better part of 2 days looking at stats and articles of these specific team, my stance remains that K-State's overall resume causes me to pick them as the best of these 4, followed by Nebraska, KU, and then MU (way at the bottom). With that in mind, I did think that from a rivalry standpoint, and with recent history in mind, the KU games was going to be the toughest for the Cats to get through and I still think that Nebraska playing KU on the road is a very tough match-up for them.
In the end, the North will undoubtedly come down to K-State in Lincoln against the Huskers...and I'm sure, that I'll be a little nervous when that game is ready to be played.

Brad,
At the end of the day I must say I do appreciate a seperate view. However, knowing you personally I must say the thing I think potentially heats you up the most in all of these conversations is that some teams sit around and pout about the fact they are not in the Championship game or whatever. All Mitch and myself consistantly propose is eliminating this. Also while doing this not give up any of the things you love about the "essence of college football". 1. The importantce of each game 2. (well I guess I don't know what else you love so much, besides Kurt Herbstreit)
